Mark Steger has been working in film, video, graphic art, theatre and live performance as a director, actor, choreographer, editor, illustrator and designer since the 1980s.

He is a founding member of osseus labyrint, the preeminent experimental arts entity based in Los Angeles. With osseus labyrint he has performed live throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

Mark has also been featured in and choreographed numerous films and music videos, creating characters with unique physical vocabularies. Among the projects he has worked on are I Am Legend, Heroes, Men In Black II, The Unborn, The Man From Elysian Fields, Resident Evil, Priest, Fright Night and the music video Schism for the band TOOL.

In 2001-2002 he performed on a 70 city international arena tour with TOOL.

Recently, Mark starred in the hit horror film The Pact, and will soon be seen in Seth Rogen's directorial debut The End of the World.

Mark has received dozens of awards including a Rockefeller Foundation Grant, a California Arts Council Fellowship, the Durfee Artists Award and was twice listed as one of the Los Angeles Times year end “10 Best” performances.

Currently, Mark is creating the multi-media comic book Gearbox.
